Privacy Policy
Introducing is an iPhone app by BenedettiApps ("we", "us") that helps you create a personal "About Me" page. This policy explains what we collect, why, who helps us process it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account information: your email address and, if you use Sign in with Apple, the identifier Apple provides (which may be a private relay email). If you sign in with email, your password is stored securely by our authentication provider; we never see it in plain text.
- Your answers: what you enter in the app, such as your name, role, hometown, places you've lived, family details, education, projects, achievements, hobbies, fun facts and style choices.
- Photos you choose: only the photos you pick from your library. We don't access the rest of your photo library.
- Resume files you upload: the file and the text read from it, used to fill in your work history.
- Usage limits and consent records: counts of AI requests (to apply daily limits) and the date you agreed to AI processing.
- Error reports: when something in the app breaks, a short technical note: the error message, which screen it happened on and the app version. It never includes your answers, photos or resume. We delete these after 30 days.
- Reports about pages: if you report a published page, what you write and, if you give it, your email address.
- App usage data: which steps of the app you reach (for example, that you opened the app, reached a question screen, generated your page or published it), linked to a random account ID. It never includes your answers, name, photos or resume. You can turn this off in Settings with "Share anonymous usage data".
We don't use advertising, we don't track you across other apps or websites, and we don't sell your information. This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or trackers.
How we use it
- To create, show and save your personal page.
- To read your resume and write the text for your page using AI, only after you agree in the app.
- To keep your account and drafts in sync, and to prevent abuse.
- To understand where people get stuck in the app, so we can improve it.
- To respond when you contact us.
Who helps us
- Anthropic (Claude AI): receives your answers and resume text to read your resume and write and design your page. Photos are not sent; they're replaced by placeholders. Anthropic processes this data to provide the service and, under its commercial terms, does not use it to train its models.
- Supabase: hosts our database, file storage, sign-in and server functions.
- Apple: provides Sign in with Apple and app distribution.
- PostHog: stores the app usage data described above so we can see which steps people complete. It does not receive your answers, photos or resume.
- Cal.com: if you book a call, you do so on Cal.com, under its own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete your account, answers, photos, resume files and pages from our systems. If you used Sign in with Apple, we also revoke the app's access with Apple.
Your choices
- Edit: change or remove any answer or photo in the app at any time.
- Delete: open Settings in the app and tap Delete account.
- Ask us: email us to request a copy of your data or for any privacy question.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Access to your records is limited to your own account by database security rules, and our AI service keys are kept on the server, never in the app.
Children
Introducing is made for working professionals and isn't directed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
